Introduction to accessibility
The Disability Discrimination Act has now come into play with regards to the accessibility of websites, stating that all sites should conform to certain guidelines that allow those with disabilities to get access to a website. If your site is not constructed with this in mind, then it might not be easy to navigate for a blind person for example (who might use a screen reader or similar technology).
There are 3 levels of accessibility, A, AA and AAA, with AAA being the highest and most accessible level.
