RW Communications Ltd
November 14th, 2006
RW Communications are an IT/network support company based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge. They specialise in the supply, installation and ongoing maintenance of computer networks up and down the country.
They came to us as their existing website was quite dated, some of the information was no longer relevant and the design was in need of an overhaul. So the first part of the brief was to address the website re-design.
The new website
We designed a couple of proposed layouts for the new website, which were well received. One of the concepts stood out as the favorite so this was refined and then turned into a working template using XHTML/CSS.
Part of the brief was to develop a simple Content Management System (CMS) to enable them to update certain sections of the website themselves on a regular basis. This was done in ASP, and included a news article system, downloads manager (for their presentations, PDFs etc.) and an updateable accreditations page to announce new Microsoft qualifications and things like that.
Other work
Having completed the new website we were also asked to design a printed newsletter which they wanted to send out quarterly to their clients, plus an A5 flyer to announce their office move which took place in October 2006.
The second edition of their newsletter has just been sent out.

“After many months of searching for a reliable, conscientious and more importantly talented web design company we found Deft Creative. We had seen many templates from other design companies which had not come close to our ideas. After a meeting with Steve our ideas were realised in the first template idea…why had we wasted so much time with the other design companies! Steve gave us some great ideas and management over the download and news content through an easy to use online page. We are so pleased with our own site that we now refer all leads for web design work to Deft Creative.”
