CSS gallery website submission spreadsheet
Once the new Deft website went live I submitted it to a couple of CSS galleries (so called because of their inclusion of well designed websites constructed using valid xhtml and CSS), just for my own interest as I had never submitted anything to these sites before.
The benefits of getting listed on these sites are threefold;
- It gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside as your work gets recognised as being good.
- It brings in more traffic
- It is a good way of increasing one-way links to your website
The Deft site was listed pretty quickly and the site began receiving more traffic from these sources. So I thought I’d see if I could find more of these websites and submit to them too. As it turns out, there are loads!
I have created a spreadsheet showing details of 87 of these sites, which includes their Google PageRank, Alexa Rank and Google indexed Back links to help you judge which may be the more beneficial, plus there’s a column to keep track of who you’ve submitted to.
After a month or so has passed I’ll report back on which of these sites brought the most traffic.

If you know of any more galleries or run one yourself, then drop me an email with all the details listed on the spreadsheet and I’ll add it in.

Thanks for the list - saved me lots of time trawling through my bookmarks when submitting
Thank you so much for posting this. This gives me some ideas on how to create my own CSS-website.
Thanks for the excel spreadsheet I’ll be using it to submit my own site.
