Case Study

The client wanted a custom screensaver to be created which showed their company branding, but which included some dynamic information supplied by 2 RSS feeds from their website.

The company maintain a malware archive, software that is designed to be malicious, and they wanted several stats regarding this archive shown, along with the latest 10 threats, fed live from their website.

We created a screensaver which would check to see whether the user had an internet connection, and if they do then the latest information would be downloaded and displayed in the screensaver. If there was no connection, then some static data would be displayed and the screensaver would keep checking.

The information was displayed over four 3D panels, which rotate around as the data is refreshed.

The final screensaver design was wrapped in a custom installer program so it was easy to distribute and install on users systems.
