Web development for a T-shirt collection blog.

Case Study

The idea of this site was to create a gallery showcasing the best T-shirt designs on the Internet. Users are able to vote on their favorites and click through to buy the designs.

The structure of this website is based on the popular blogging platform WordPress, but it needed heavy customisation.

Rather than using the regular format of writing mainly text based posts, each post is a single design with an attached rating system so users can give each design a rating.

As the designs are stored in a database as part of the WordPress system the designs can be organised and displayed in a number of different ways; Users can perform a keyword search, they can view t-shirts in specific colours only, and they can view collections of shirts, such as movie/music related.

The top 5 rated designs also appear at the top of the homepage to promote the most popular ones.

Users are also able to sign up for an account and post comments on the designs.
